In the event a Subscriber to the NotifyNow! service dials 9-1-1 the system automatically initiates the notification sequence to the subscriber’s predetermined list of up to six contacts. The notification contains the Subscriber's name (in their pre-recorded voice), the Subscriber's telephone number and the date/time of the 9-1-1 call (usually one minute after 9-1-1 is dialed). The NotifyNow! system continues the notification sequence until an answer is confirmed or five “retries” are completed.

The Subscriber may change their contact list at any time via their telephone (toll free) or the internet.
